You can beeswax or lanolin

Like I mentioned in the video, Vaseline can clog pores if you apply too much. Applying it on scalp and hair 2x a week is enough.

Yes you can use shea butter/ castor oil , you may need to add in some beeswax for the consistency. Aloe vera oil is not a gel. It is an infused oil.
