I love all your projects Heather. They are all beautiful. The papers are so lovely but my favourite ones are all the snowmen and everything after that,they look amazing. I love the little ornaments you made. That is something I’m doing this year if I get chance. I love them all. I’m going to get some of the magnets too. I think they would make lovely little gifts to go with other gifts. The church in the frame is gorgeous, I love old churches, and it suits that frame so well. So glad I found you! Always love your projects and you have inspired me so much more than others I follow. I rarely comment but wanted to say that my favorite today was the frame only because I recently struggled with getting the right color and feel for a winter scene rice paper. I’m still not comfortable at layering colors to get effect I like. The arched panels are from IOD.

I would say the advantage of using DIY paint artistically is that you can rework and blend with this paint and have more creative play with it. Practically it is only 9 ingredients and can be wet distressed prior to sealing so you can create and distress inside without fumes and a mess. Does this help? The arched panel is an IOD panel and I have a couple of those left on my website.
