Thank you Elise, using your suggestions and recipe I made my first homemade diffuser yesterday. My bottles are slightly smaller so I placed mine in my powder room. At first, nothing but by the next morning the powder room was filled with the scent of Citrus. I used 91% rubbing alcohol.

Hello Elise. I like the content you upload. I have some questions. 1. I see for the oil-based perfumes you make, you add Vitamin E oil as a preservative, but not for the diffuser liquid. Is that because the diffuser liquid has alcohol and needs no further preservatives? 2. I see you are using clear glass for your reed diffusers, but amber glass for your oil-based fragrances. What is the reason for this? Thank you for your time!

Hi I just subscribed to your channel and I looked at all the comments. I have a problem with people posting their videos and saying “I want people to hit the thumbs up button and also subscribe” but yet they don’t answering peoples concerns an questions. And I’ve noticed that you are following the same pattern. You pick and choose questions that you want to answer but it has nothing to do with the main concerns of your viewers or subscribers. I have read several comments were people wanted answers to the same question but you have not responded to their request and that’s not fair for us to sit in a week to see if you’re going to answer the question so what they do is move on to another channel for that answer. Maybe if you explain in your videos that you cannot answer all questions because of time concern, that might ease the skepticism a little, because no one likes to be ignored. Thank you for your videos. You are doing a great job and I am proud and love the way you handle yourself on camera verbally and emotionally. And thank you for being down to earth with us layman people.

What is the difference between making diffusers using a BASE or using (Isopropyl Alcohol and DEB (DENATURED ETHANOL).
@TheAtl00013 жыл бұрын
👍 Great!! Tip, constructive criticism to make your vids even better than they are. Speak a little slower, I had no problems but for some non-native English speakers it helps. Background music volume a little lower, on-screen instructions to stand out a bit more (not the mixtures they stand out). Just some little things, your video was great.

How often will i need to replace the reeds? Also how long does this last in general? Thanks!!!
@WholeElise4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! 😊 If you use diffuser reeds they should last a couple months before you need to replace them. I recommend turning the reeds over each week to ensure the scent continues to travel through them. Once they're fully saturated with oil the scent will stop so that's when you should replace them. Hope that helps!

Is the rubbing alcohol the same with 90% normal alcohol? I will try to make it. I saw other ppl videos. But they said the fragrance isnt come out. So i am gonna try to follow ur recipe.
@WholeElise4 жыл бұрын
Hi! It's not the same but for these purposes it will work just as well, typically rubbing alcohol is a little easier to 😊find, but anything with a high alcohol content (70% - 90%) will work! Issues with the fragrance can also be down to the potency of the essential & fragrance oil (some are diluted rather than pure essence) as well as how the reed diffusers are treated. They need to be turned frequently to ensure that the whole rod stays saturated to allow the fragrance to pass through into the room. However, even though this is a homemade diffuser - it doesn't vary much from ones you can buy in the store so it should work once you get the balance right. I hope that helps 😊

Your videos are gorgeous (as are you!) and I appreciate the amount of energy you out into your production. I tried your recipe and the vodka separates. Any advice on this or is it okay?
@jordanpotter76383 жыл бұрын
I LOVE your channel! :) This looks amazing I've always wondered how people do this and I am so excited to try it! I don't typically store vodka or rubbing alcohol on hand, and I don't know if it is worth buying a whole bottle just for 2 tablespoons. However I do use witch hazel regularly for my face! Would witch hazel be an effective alternative? (I looked through the comments and your description but I don't see anything.) Have a wonderful day and please make more videos!!!!
