Great theater KF! The movie posters really set the mood. The seats look comfy. I have more of a man cave with a projector and a 5.2.1 set up that has been cobbled together over the years. I need to upgrade my sub or possibly combine it with a second sub. What subs do you use? Where have you mounted the ceiling atmos speakers? Thank you sir

Thanks man! I use a 2 polk subs. I eventually want to upgrade all my speakers to klipse. My atmos speakers are mounted right above the day bed, I show them later in the video. Thanks for watching

Hi Kedrick, good job on the theater room! On the Pioneer, please check and see if there is a firmware update. That may fix your video issues. Also, it looks like you have two different brands of subs. Can you go into more detail about those? Thanks!

Thanks for watching! After I recorded this video I actually figured out why it wasn't working. Only one port on my tv supported hdr10 so as soon as I switched it it worked. As far as the subs......the one in the back is just a sub I had laying around, not a part of the rest of the set but it actually sounds pretty good. I eventually wanna replace all the speakers to a klipsch reference set.

Hey Kedrick, what do you have connected to the ceiling keeping the wires up there from your projector? it looks like some kind of pocket that you have your wires in. what is it? this might work for my room.

It's one of those wire channels you would normally but on your wall when mounting a TV to hide the wires

hi im a new subscriber! just 1 quest can't you plug your xbox to the tv and then earc from the tv to the pioneer so that you can get the surround sound?

Thank you for subscribing! Yes you can, but the only downside to that is I would lose the ability to game on the projector screen, which I like to do for some games.

Thanks for sharing your setup. What is your depth and height of the risers in your setup? I want to have enough space for people to walk on the risers when the HT chairs are not reclined (like you see) and I was wondering if the depth it should be 5.5ft or 6ft. Some places recommend even 7 ft but that seems excessive.

Yea my risers are 6in high and 6ft deep. It's kinda tight to walk by when all seats are fully reclined. So if you have room for 7ft without pushing your front row too close I would.. but 6ft works fine

Hey @ Kendrick Denton & marantz r coming out with an adapter to work with Xbox series x maybe pioneer will do the same the problem may not be ur amp but ur xboxes might save u some money if there’s an adapter or update

amazing video but i dont think you would need a 4k projector AND an oled 75 inch tv, but any one of them. the best budget oled with the least risk of burn in is the sony a8g ( 55 inch is about 1100 dollars on amazon) and 4k projector you should go with benq HT2550 or TK850. good luck with whatever you choose to pick and merry christmas man

77 inch oled is not the same as a PJ. 55'' OLED is tiny. 77'' OLED + PJ is the way to go. I suggest 77'' CX for gaming and Epson 6050UB for PJ :)

Love your channel. I have the same receiver and could not use 4k HDR 60Hz until I switch it to HDMI advanced. I did it by pushing two buttons on the front at the same time, just wandering if you’ve tried that yet..?

@@KedrickFoster If you look at the flat buttons right below the display look at the one all the way on the right called “sound retriever.” Hold it down then push the button three to the left called “auto/direct.” On my pioneer VSX-834 it shows on the display switching from “HDMI 4K: Std” to “HDMI 4K: Adv.” You have to hold down sound retriever then hit auto/direct while still holding the sound retriever down. lol it’s crazy. Hope it works
