DIY- How To Assemble 3D Letters With Light & Shaker

This is a little sneak peak of how I did these beautiful 3D letter and number. The theme is frozen and the number 7 is a shaker with lights. Some tips that might help you as you do them:
• I used hot silicon glue to make the letter itself as I feel more comfortable using this one. You can use cold silicon glue as well, It might be a bit easier if you doing them for the first time.
• I used Design Space and another program called Inscape to do the shadows in my design.
• I bought the acetate sheets and the neo loons lights on amazon.

Este es un pequeña vista de cómo hice estas hermosas letras en 3D. El tema es Frozen y el número 7 es un Shaker con luces. Algunos consejos que pueden ayudarte al momento de hacerlas:
• Utilicé pegamento de silicona caliente para hacer la letra en sí, ya que me siento más cómodo usando esta. También puedes usar pegamento de silicona fría ya que podría ser un poco más fácil de manejar si lo haces por primera vez.
• Usé Design Space y otro programa llamado Inscape para hacer las sombras en mi diseño.
• Compré las láminas de acetato y las luces de neo loons en Amazon.

Como hacen mas capas encima de la letra 3d

Hola Walesca, En este vídeo puedes ver cómo realizo las capas kzbin.info/www/bejne/mZeypGOaec9-n9k En este caso lo hago con números pero es el mismo procedimiento con las letras. Puedes realizar el el offset ( contorno para afuera y así hacerlo más grande) o inset ( para hacer el contorno más pequeño para adentro). Dale un vistazo a ese vídeo 😊 espero te ayude!

Beautiful just like the rest of your work I have seen on here .I have the full Alphabet file bought from the same seller .can I ask the this alphabet can also been used to make the alphabet shakers

Hi Andrea, sorry for the late answer. Which seller did you use ? The one from Etsy ? If you did yeah you will be able to make the shakers. I think the file doesn’t have the layers so you will need to create them. Using the offset tool ( Cricut or Silluette) you can make them. I hope I have helped! For the layer that goes in front of the acetate, you can just use a program called Inkscape to make the shadows of the letters, weather outside or inside the letter.
