The half length of the jump suit will determine how long the crotch line will be After taking the half length, you sit on a flat chair or surface and measure form the half length to the chair you’re sitting on.. any measurement you get, add one inch to it and that’s your crotch measurement

I took the crotch on the hip line, and it works well for me like that ( only because it is a high waist trouser) if it’s a normal waist trouser you can’t do it like that you have to measure the crotch line You know it’s a high waist trouser, yes I removed the band inches (just one inch) I took the measurements before sewing it, then I cut off the excess allowances So sorry for confusion you dear I hope this explanation is clear

The back has to be bigger than the front because we don’t have bum bum at the front But in a case of it not being equal, it could be a mistake when you were cutting it You can cut off the excess if it isn’t going to affect the outcome of the trouser or reduce your measurement

Gm mam🥰🥰🥰, I ve some questions too 1. U used hip length of 10 inches ,instead of the normal crotch depth routine some people like me know🥰🥰? And it worked for u what about someone with hip length 8 like some1 who isn't tall as u , if I used 8 to get the hip point and mark my crotch length of 12 inches just the way u did won't it be tight on the crotch area? 2. I noticed u didn't talk about the band until u re almost done with the outfit does it means that u subtracted ur band ms. From ur normal lenght 40 from the start, if yes, then how many inches allowance did u add to the trouser before sewing, like ur seam allowance becos all u said is my trouser length is 40 and u didn't talk about the allowance and band , don't u think that the band would increase ur length ms of 40. 3.for the band y did u remove the half inch slant becoz I know that cutting a band in a straight manner doesn't really work out as it folds why u re trying to fix it so I want to know if that why u slanted it and also opened it at the two sides 4. Finally if am making a trouser like this with rope at the waist line like string rope for trousers is there need for elastic?? And can this method work with ankara fabrics too. Too many questions right pls ma Answer them accordingly, so u can clarify a subscriber thanks so much, trust me when I said I can always count on taleh' s🥰🥰

First when taking your measurement you are to measure your hip and crotch line differently for my case both are the same Remember it’s a high waist trouser When cutting minus the band but don’t forget to add sewing allowance For all the other questions just follow exactly what I did
