Love the skirt. How are the top and bottom of the leg width determine?

​@@cherrystrawberry52 thank you so much. ❤ 2:36 in this case the bottom of top part (hip) is about 92-94cm. So top part of leg is 7,8cm netto Bottom is 19cm netto ❤

Dies Röcke aus Jeanshosen hab ich schon in den 70ziger für mich genäht, mit tollen bunten Stoffen .Dann in den 80ziger für mein Töchterchen .Dann später sie auch für sich und heute noch ❤Danke für dies nicht kennen tolle Idee

@atelierUPSOO hi and Thank you for your comment. I do have a question please. What are the widths of the top and bottom of the pieces please? I'm a slim build UK size 8/10 in jeans. Do I measure the circumference of where I've cut off the jeans and divide by 12 plus adding seam allowance? I'm also tall at 5'10. Many Thanks 😊

Hello, if you have a skirt that you use usually , try to measure the waist. And please tell me in centimeters. And This way could be more precise to calculate 😍😍

@atelierUPSOO hi and Thank you for being so helpful. I have a waist of 81cms. My hips are 87cms. Very much none existent figure really 🤦‍♀️ I have sourced 2 pair of jeans plus the pair I'd use will pick another pair up tomorrow as having a sewing group class on Wednesday. I'd love to prep before I go. I do have an overlocker at home but have barely used it yet. 😍😘

Hi, Are you Dona? Sorry for the reply before. Because I was confused with the last video uploaded today. Yes you are right . In the first you have to divide by 12 and plus seam allowance (could be 2cm or 1,5cm in total. Depends how you sew usually) So if your hip ( where you cut the skirt) is 87 ÷12= 7,25. So adding 2cm. It becomes 9,25cm. And the bottom could be 20/21cm with 60cm of length. How much 5'10 in cm ? Did you see the last video? It's similar to this skirt but just with patchworked pieces. Thanks.
