I bought a 24" glass top for mine kind of wish I would've went bigger
@DIYBuilt Жыл бұрын
Ya a 24” glass is a bit small for a barrel top. I was lucky, I found my glass at a reclaim store for very little.

How are you enjoying the table? It turned out nice! I just happened to pickup a 30 gallon whiskey barrel for a future project. You got your hands on one in great shape!

Btw, where did you find a 30 gal barrel? I’ve been looking for smaller ones but haven’t had any luck

Excellent video and very cool table. I didn't think you looked like the wine type - haha. No matter what beverage you enjoy that would be a great table to enjoy it - well done.

Why do you need to sand it after applying the first coat of urethane?
@DIYBuiltАй бұрын
Sanding between coats will take off any dust particles that land on it while drying. Gives a much smoother surface in the end.

How is that glass not coming off accidentally when someone leans on it the wrong way?
