These fans are WAY more quieter than the ESS goggles, more affordable and last longer. Fogging up is a thing of the past now. To make more comfortable move the fan towards the front. You would be better turning the fan over so its sucking air out of the goggles and not blowing air into them.

I noticed that the fan is sticking out of the back slightly, does this make it uncomfortable to wear?

Do you really need to solder the wires for this? Or can you just twist the wires and tape it over with electrical tape? Btw, great vid! Motivated me to do this as well.

His fan is 25x25x15 I have 15x15x10 and I run 2 off a 9v battery pack 5v rating it's short 1 v but runs

$140 even though you literally just shown how you made in and the cost of the things... plus it takes not much longer than 10 minutes you assembly it. Like if I wanted to do this it would make more sense to just do it by myself and save $100 or buy goggles with a fan already in them.

i know the video is old but they make goggles with fans for 15 euros ...
