Hello I’m new to your channel today and I have a question, I’ve made a couple toppers using a different brand ofspackle but planning to pickup the brand you used in this video and I’m wondering how to prevent them from breaking off small pieces they seem extremely fragile. So before investing more $ and time in this craft project I was looking for tips on how to preserve the finished project. I would hope to be able to wrap them and show at my craft fairs. Hi Antionette, The mug toppers are just for decorations purpose only. I like displaying them on my tier tray they make great fillers, I also use them to decorate my Hot Cocoa Bar. They are easy to store away once your finish using them I wrap them in saran wrap and plastic bubble to store them in a cool place. I would have attached topper onto cup first then decorate it. Would be a lot easier

I found it easy for me to work with toppers off the mugs until I finish them. I need free standing movement without worrying if I accidentally knock the mug over. Make sure you use fresh spackle and make sure you cut the tip wider so that it can flow through. I hope this helps.
