If you want a cheaper non-stick option, try doing it on some parchment paper! Everything usually slides right off and as it's meant to withstand the heat of an oven, it won't burn. Oh, and don't forget Martha Stewart's tip for when crafting with hot glue. She sets a bowl of ice water nearby her so if she accidentally burns herself or gets a glob of hot glue on her hand, she sticks it into the ice water which instantly sets and hardens the glue so you don't have molten glue dripping on your skin.

Very creative! I've made 1:6 scale wine bottles with hot glue and molds. & I was surprised that the glue was easy to paint on. I've never thought about trying to create doll food. I might try it now. Thanks for sharing!!

I love that broccoli💗🥦 I made chocolate chip cookies with hot glue a few years ago. I've also made cranberry sauce with red beads and either a glue and marker mixture or glue and paint mixture. It makes a great addition to the table at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Honestly I think about 95% of my miniatures are food related. 😅

Hi Toya, Could you please do a "helpful hints" video showing the best way to store and organize your glue stick foods and other tiny makes to prolong their life. You know, the things we should do and should avoid doing too. I mean...Like... Do they stick together after a while in storage? Should the pieces be kept in an airtight container like a little zip bag? Or, is a more rigid container better? Lol! Maybe we need a nice big "refrigerator/freezer" storage unit type deal! For easy non stick backing use the paper stickers come stuck to hot glue peels right off.

I tried this out! I use wax paper when making hot glue foods, you can scetch on the wax paper decently well and the hot glue comes off pretty well!
