I notice you seem to use a light bulb and this metal dome at 33 seconds in to get the dome affect on your pieces. Where did you get the metal dome and can you put the light bulb in the oven to cure the pieces? or is it something else you use! Thanks. Love your videos - too many other tutorials have someone waffling on all the way through. Yours are succinct and to the point and you make some wonderful pieces. thank you.
@maximillian6238 жыл бұрын
hi ludmilla - just read back on old post and found out it is a metal alternative to soap!
@SweetyBijouPro8 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much, Jaki! Yes, soap. And yes, u can put the light bulb in the oven - even 150"C is okay for it! ;)

Hi Ludmila! thanks for the awesome videos! one question, when I bake my pieces for 15 - 20 min they can break when pressed or touched strongly. don't you think we can cook them longer? what's your advice? please
@SweetyBijouPro8 жыл бұрын
Here is my standard instructions, how I bake my pieces :) I bake 20 min at 140-150"C.. start from cold oven - I put items in cold oven and set 150... but when I see that my thermometer already shot 150'C - I make 140"C

You are incredibly good with an awesome eye for detail. Question. The square white cards you keep putting clay on while you work, is that paper/cards Toca or something else?
@SweetyBijouPro8 жыл бұрын
Thank you dear Kim! That "card" it's just thin paper sheets for the bakery, cookies or some another food, like backing...

Ludmila Bakulina They look so stiff like cards. Do you have anything under them?

Ludmila Bakulina No, maybe it's me that doesn't understand. Here paper you are describing is very thin. when you pick them up they just seem to have some weight to them. it's probably just hard to tell from here. Thanks for sharing.

I have at tip for using those blades. I use a little bit of red nail polish on the top side (blunt side). This prevents me from grabbing the sharp part of the blade. I haven't cut myself but I'm not taking any chances. I'm good for just grabbing and not looking once I'm in the zone.
