Near side (UK) - that is, the right hand side when viewed from the front - sidelight twists out ANTI-CLOCKWISE, not clockwise! The other side (left when viewed from front) turns out clockwise.

Why would you change them to white? Also, did you experience any hyperflash?

I replaced them because I like white/clear lights better than yellowish ones (considering it's legal). These are not the turn signals, so there should be no reason for them to be flashing. I hope that clarifies your question

Does the driver side light unlocks clockwise? I am unable to replace the one on the driver side!

For my car, each side unlocks in a different direction, so I had to twist them differently. If you tried one way and it didn't work, try it the opposite way. It should not be too hard to get it out, just be careful because the part holding the bulb is made of plastic. Good luck!

cant get the driver side out either no matter how hard i tried! The passenger side was super easy i didnt have to even use force at all.
