DIY ICF Pool Build Part 1/Training Update

In This Video we introduce Anna and Aaron Callaway! They are law enforcement officers with minimal construction experience who decided to DIY their own ICF Vinyl Liner pool, We are conducting a vinyl liner training on this pool so me and my crew will be giving them guidance and putting the finishing touches on the pool bracing and forming to make sure we are training on a first class install but they are doing great and learning very fast. This series should clearly illustrate how possible it is to take on the task of DIY-ing this type of pool which will allow many people to get into these pools years ahead of waiting until they've saved enough to contract it out! I open the video with an update on the training as well

I can't even find any builders in my area for ICF anything. So I guess I'm going to have to do it myself.

20x40, 8’ deep, nice Pentair equipment with easy touch automation and 4 microbrite led’s, salt water, I think they’ll have 30-32k in it depending on gravel…. We sell this same pool for 60 all day long turn key so it’s a real opportunity for sweat equity!

At a hotel I worked at in Ohio, the pool had a, I guess you could call it a ledge all around the pool not at the seat height but at the 4' depth. From a safety standpoint I thought it was a great idea. It stuck out about 6-8 inches around the deep end then rolled over like the seats do in spas. How hard would this be to do with the ICF installs? For commercial remodels or new installs it could also be a selling point for your company.
