This definitely won't work for koi because they can get huge. Goldfish need lots of room as well; like a crazy amount of room. The betta would love it. Do some research before considering what fish is best for your space, time, and budget.

aldlkj air pumps allows a break in the water surface in turn creates oxygen exchange. dont really need airpumps with regular water change in my experience.

Yes. I have 4 koi and 5 large goldfish in a 300 gallon tank with two massive 20 gallon media filters and a green killing machine and its all I can do to keep up. They poop a lot!!! I mean a lot!
