DIY Inhale and Exhale valve for mask

This Video is a DIY modification to the Respirator mask that we did a few days ago. We modified it by adding an Inhale and Exhale valve. This will help prevent moisture from building up inside the Mask. Along with a N95 filter to be placed inside the Filter holder. Enjoy the Build.

I tried many designs, this is one of the best, I did use Eva foam, the filters will be using carbon. The shape design allows me to do many customizations, color combination, and front panel design. I am very happy with it, You can open and close your mouth and kept the main areas sealed. Thanks a LOT

Yau could pack some table salt into the inhale portion of the valve (you would have to put material to keep the salt from falling out. This can probably effectivly trap very small moisture droplets that make it past the n95, or could be used with farbic that isn't as fine as n95.

@@StuArtyang Great to hear :) Also I have been building your pattern today using the valve system from luri's Workshop. What I have noticed is you can make a larger canister filter using more of the bottle. If you cut two circles of fabric you can use your glue or duct tape to make a pouch. Then when the pouch is almost sealed you can fill it with salt and then finally seal the pount. THen you can place the pouch into the bottle canister and glue/tape it in place to make it air tight. Finally, you can cut the bottom of the bottle off (put holes in it) and then attached it to the bottle to close the cover. A mask with a valve is useless. Primary purpose and most effective use of a mask is to slow down exhaled air and trap droplets or aerosolized particles containing a virus. In a pandemic, the most important thing is to prevent an infected person from spreading it to others or, limit contaminating the environment. An outflow valve specifically, does nothing for that. An inflow valve makes a marginally effective mask useless in preventing wearer from being infected...So a bandana covering mouth and nose is more effective than any mask with a damn valve on it.

My primary purpose is to protect me from the police. Also I want the mask to stay as cool and dry inside as possible, so I don't have to remove the mask often. Outflow valve is absolutely necessary.

the primary purpose is to protect others around the wearer, not the wearer themselves. So if everyone is wearing a mask, everyone is making an effort to protect each other. But yeah, any mask with a literal hole to eject air is literally just like shoving your head in a car exhaust.

Or maybe ya know you wear this with actual protection like n95 or better filter and exhoast doesnt matter since you know you dont have it not everyone is infected or transmitting there is a 0.0000007% chance of reinfection its better to just get it if your bellow 90 and make your own antibodies

DO NOT use masks with exhalation valves. It may protect you, but you expose others like you aren't wearing a mask at all.

If someone is too stupid to wear a mask then they can get fucked for putting everyone else at risk. If they have kids, the children are already at great risk due to having parents like that. Also, in what version of reality will air pushed through gauze and an N95 filter come out _more_ concentrated with the virus than no mask or a typically unsecured mask? That makes no sense.
