DIY Inhaler Spacer

Here's how to make a spacer for an inhaler. This DIY method is not an FDA approved way of using your inhaler, and I recommend using an approved device.

Thank you very much. This is a great suggestion for emergencies when you’ve lost your spacer or if you can’t afford them. Many insurance companies do not cover the cost and I personally can’t afford the $65 right now.

Bless you. Spacers are prescription, not covered by my insurance, and $45 at Walmart pharmacy. Now to find a bottle.

Take a large plastic cup and stick the inhaler into the bottom and place the open cup part over the mouth of a baby or the snout of the animal. Google plastic cup spacer.
