I used to struggle with some store bought patterns and internet tutorials were a game changer! The other thing I always find helpful whether I'm making clothes, shoes, bags, purses etc is to look at a shop bought one and it helps me to envision what parts have been constructed and put together first to get the final result. It's fun learning new things :)

I love making baby Mary Jane shoes. I'm really rubbish at hand sewing though so I sew the sole face down to the shoe first and then the lining, leaving my turning gap in that. Then when they are flipped out the sole is on perfectly and any imperfections from me hand sewing the lining gap closed are hidden on the inside of the shoe.

In image it is elastic belt on shoe but u made different.. Only for elastic in front i watched whole video..

Thank you for letting me know! I made two versions of the shoe when creating it, one with elastic in the straps and one without. It seems that the thumbnail picture shows the version with elastic! I'll upload a video showing how to include elastic as well. Thanks for your feedback.
