Great video! I love using those dollar store candle holders for fun craft projects like that. I had issues with mine not staying together though so I started using the E6000 glue instead of the high heat hot glue and I had a lot more success in them staying together.

Its one of those "never thought" kind of projects. Im a natural crafter myself so this a great idea. Thanks so much. Ill paint mine with antique silver after putting the pearls around their places. And instead of those wooden rounds to hold the jewelry I can perhaps use round glass studs or crystals after painting everything.

@MichellesHandmadeCreations8 жыл бұрын
I really like the idea, but I think I'd use small spots/dabs of clear epoxy to assemble it. Then it I wouldn't have to be paint the pretty glass pcs or hide the hot glue blobs. Also, the pcs would be more securely adhered together. TFS!

Did you get the glue sticks from the dollar store as well?
@BellaBranchDIY10 жыл бұрын
Hi prettypioneer ...I'm not sure if the Dollar Store carries glue sticks. I bought mine from Michael's Crafts, but any hobby or craft store should carry them. You can also use silicone adhesive instead of hot glue. Home Depot would carry that. Have fun making this DIY. Be sure to let me know how it turns out. xo, Michele

@BellaBranchDIY10 жыл бұрын
Hi Erica mekish …That's a bummer! Did you use High Heat hot glue? I would suggest for extra security you get a "silicone adhesive glue" at Home Depot or any hardware store. That will make it super duper strong!!! Happy New Year!!! xo, Michele

I tried high hot glue and e6000 glue my glue with not stick .. Please help :(
@BellaBranchDIY10 жыл бұрын
Hi Hunter Bauer …I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble. Did you glue everything before painting? I'm not sure why it's not sticking. Make sure the surfaces are clean. And maybe try sanding it a little in the area you are trying to glue. Last resort, you can always get an epoxy glue at the hardware store. Just let them know you are trying to glue glass together. I hope that helps! xo, Michele

@BellaBranchDIY10 жыл бұрын
Hi Melissa Herman …I'm sorry you are having trouble with the glue. That's super frustrating! You may want to try an epoxy for glass at the hardware store. Or try E6000 glue fro Michaels or another craft store. Thanks for watching my channel! xo, Michele
