I just found some buttons handed down from my family from the rev war. They were buried in a well in Massachusetts to keep them from being made into bullets. Then unburied n handed down, I’m gonna use one for this bracelet!

Hi Kellie, I'm finally feeling better and have been trying some more of your videos! I made this one 3 years ago (it just doesn't seem that long ago 🎉). I have trouble with the sizing, I'm 6 1/2" wrist, so I'll need 21" of the leather, but I end up with too tight or too loose 🤦‍♀️. I'm wondering if I'm not keeping enough on my "short side". Would you be able to tell me how much I should keep for the long side and how much for the short side? Thank you again for your amazing videos! I've been practicing your barrel knot trick while watching many of them. I plan on doing the one where you cover the crimp with the barrel knot next!

I really like this bracelet, especially because it is using a smaller leather. If I am working from a spool of leather, wouldn’t I be fine to cut less than 2m with a 61/2 inch wrist. Maybe 1,80m..... Thank you,

These are all beautiful - I liked the red and black one best initially but your favourite is growing on me since I saw the completed bracelet, lovely work! By the way I did get confused in the example of a 7in wrist size you measured out 22 inches ((2 x 7) + 8) but the long length you were using to wrap the barrel knots looked a lot longer than that ... so how did you determine how long the long length of leather would be in relation to the 22 inches? Thanks

Help! I’m a little confused about how much leather I’m using. You stated in the supplies abt 2 meters, but measured only 22 inches… is that 22 inches just the measure of the top string? But then subtracted from the 2 meters would leave about 56 inches, for the bottom string, making it longer…🤔

The 22 is the part that will go around your wrist and where you put the button. The long piece is your working/knotting piece.

Nope just double and add 8. That’s where your button goes. The long side is for wrapping.
