This was really helpful! Thank you. I had wondered how effective the product from Rio was, and I also was considering the benefits of a hood overhead. Great stuff

Thank you so much for this.... we recently moved and I set up my studio in the garage where I didn't have much of a choice on how to ventilate... This works and Ill give it a try.

This is the best through the window set up I've seen thus far, thanks for posting it! I'm wondering if this set up will be sufficient for sucking up the soot that comes off from using an acetylene/O2 torch? Have you tried this set up with an acetylene/oxygen (not atmospheric oxygen) torch?

I was wondering why you didn't go with the Vivosun 4" 195 CFM fan. Was that ever an option for you? I thinking I may not need one as strong and the 195 would do just as good. I wouldn't need a variable speed because the 195 noise is at 30db and the 203 is at a 49 db. What is your input. Thank you for the video. So helpful!

So, What about the fan? Brand? Type? I cannot read the small lettering on it.

I set this up and really liked it until it got below freezing and then some and the room just got too cold so my solder would not flow. Any solutions that you have found?

Sorry I live in a really warm place so that isn’t an issue I ever ran into! Maybe better insulating the window crack and closing it when not in use would help. When the fan is running it should just be sucking warm air from the room and blowing it out.
