Nice one Martyn 👌Boy it's hard keeping fry right? The weather as well is so up and down. Temperatures are driving me mad. I've got to get heated soon 👍

I have been so up and down with the fry keep them in the tank then no put them in the veg filter just so you know they are still in the tank at this time and have not lost any this week the videos are a week old time they hit you tube

@@boxtriker If there is anything I've learnt since keeping fry is that they like to hide. Drop a small plant in there mate or some loose netting for them to hide in. I think if you drop them in the veg filter it's #gameover they will follow the current and the pipes will probably get them. Hope this helps you some. 👍

@@aaron1278 I think its a year round plant its always carried on growing even in the winter albeit at a much slower rate even if cut right down to the top of the water or pot Martyn

Why not final rinse the sponges with a bucket of pond water, using a hose pipe to clean them your killing off good bacteria that's growing within the sponges. Just a thought

Dave the hose line has been past two 3 stage decorators so even at that speed there is very little left. And with the rest of the system the little bio in the foams is a little part of what I have. But it is a good point and was very naughty of me not to say anything as I did it about a pond water wash over a hose wash
