Nice system, btw how we can measure that the MBBR is already have good bacteria colony in there? Were you putting a bacteria starter sort of product in the beginning?

I think bacteria colony could be at any material surface, but I don't serious to measure. I just put some Bac product monthly.

1st and 2nd chamber. I dont understand? Can you show . Thanks

If you mean how to adjust water level. I put water pump in bottom of first chamber and feed up to second chamber.

That is a pipe line to waterfall in opposite corner of the pond.
