DIY Ladder Shelf for Plants (Indoor or Outdoor Stand) | The Carpenter's Daughter

Here's how I made a cheap DIY plant ladder stand for my garden using almost offcuts - but you could also make it for indoors, a conservatory, or even a florist's shop window!

It looks great. I love the design with hooked over shelves that hide the ends of the short pieces. I always appreciate using up left-over wood. Thanks for sharing your work.

This is a great project for when you have those few extra pieces and off cuts and some scrapes left from the other projects. Save everything, waste nothing and reuse what ever you can. Paint it, stain it, clear coat it or what ever your needs are. I enjoy watching and always pick up some good tips. Thanks for sharing you work.

Look good, an 'X' cross-brace on the back may reduce the flex from side-to-side

That was ONE BIG Ladder there 😃 ..... Nice job though, reminds me of a Hop-Up I made for plastering the bedrooms of a house where the walls went right up to the ridge .... Took about half-an-hour to build ...... Went to put into the next bedroom .... I'd made it TOO BIG!! .... AARRGGHH!!!!!! 😂

What is the brand of wood preservative you used? It gave a nice wood color to you project.

Unfortunately I can never find a link to it. I'll have to ask my Dad where he buys it, but it's called Aquashield wood treatment. I think it's chestnut.
