Hi, I am planing to make a pop top defender camper. Do you have some measurements and/or drawings for the frames you made?

Sorry, I don’t have measurements. I built it directly on another roof and made the swap after. Beams are 2x4 for the bottom and 2x1 for the top.

@@DefenderCanada Right, been thinking about the same.. but trying to get away without buying a extra roof.. but will make it a lot easier though.. cad files of the roof would be perfect.

It basically depends on how much you want to open the roof. Start around 30° Then you have to do some math or guesstimate on site. You need to have the 2 anchor points separated by the compressed length when the roof is closed and fully extended when the roof is open. I’ll try to measure tomorrow
