@@locatingleigh7632 you can do it too. It may not be as pretty, but with a simple design(and the right ceiling height, you can do this aswell. It seems daunting, but it really is rather simple. I think the hardest part is tools and most home improvement stores will cut the wood for you. Just got to ask.

why is this the coolest thing I ever seen??? My boyfriend has a loft bed in his parents home in his room and it has a closet that doubles as stairs kinda like your bookshelf but the built in huge desk is like a dream, and the window under the bed is genius placement because then it's not dark under the bed. And I love that the loft floor is a little bit bigger than the mattress, especially if you do this for a child. Really really amazing work

By using scews and not nails you actually can build furniture you can deconstruct and rebuild after moving. If you noticed in the video you can clearly see that screws were used and also in a very professional way that makes it easy to remove them without damaging the wood. You can see that the wood was drilled at certain points to insert metal enforcement that will hold the screw. That makes the construction very stable also. I was thrilled by the skills of this dad. Always wanted to be able to do that, but I'm not very talented with cutting and measuring exactly as needed. So I just go with IKEA 😂😂😂

I think you might need to get some slats or drill some holes in the board under the bed so that it can breathe and not retain moisture otherwise it might mold and destroy your mattress. It also looks like you used OSB which is susceptible to water damage. Sweet build though!
