DIY* | LATHE URSUS-20 OIL CHANGE

I believe that the oil, with crankcase cleaning, has not been changed since the production of the lathe.
The lathe has two gearbox oil pan.
A modern analogue of Mobil oil is a high-viscosity gear oil CAE 68, without detergents and antifoam additives.
A crane is embedded in the lower crankcase of the Norton gearbox.
A pump for washing gears with a jet of kerosene, under low pressure, is made and will be shown later.
