Dude that turned out amazing. You absolutely nailed it. Far out I was so surprised. You could sell those bad boys! Your lawn is looking mint, when are you spraying out the ryegrass? Keep up the quality videos and congrats on the 700 subscribers too. Getting close to 1k

thanks Dan, yeah it came up a treat, very solid so should last a lifetime and can lend it out to people 👍 the couch has just woken up here I'm thinking maybe mid October I'll smash it down and give the lawn a reno. still not sure if I'll pay for monument though. cheers mate yeah I randomly got a bunch of subscribers this month, slowly ticking along
@danielslawncare3 жыл бұрын
@@YourBestLawn yeah that monument is super expensive. If your not going to over sow again next year you could just leave it. I’m doing my Reno in 2 weeks. Things are getting warm up here in Brisbane. I can’t wait

Thanks heaps for showing the close ups mate. Really interesting to see. There's really not much on KZbin where people show that detail. Lawn is looking mint! And what an amazing corer - lol at your laugh when doing it!

I've got a few pots which I planted rye into, including 3 that are just a single seed to see how big 1 plant gets. I think ill do a wrap up video about my experience with rye and show that. hahah I noticed that when I was editing it, I was giggling like a kid 😅 a bit happy I think

How long did you make it? I’m thinking about making one on the weekend. Also what sized bolts did you use?
@YourBestLawn3 жыл бұрын
the entire thing is 1100mm long, bolts were 7/8 which was as close to 22mm as I could find to suit the bike grips. the bolts were about 130mm long

ah sweet man ill give that a go. I tested this setting and it worked, but then it would randomly show up. I'll ry those things u mentioned because I think it brings the video quality down a lot

Re Light flicker. Australia power is 50Hz which means our lights cycle at 50Hz. You want to record at whatever res possible using 50Hz not 60Hz or any other setting.
@YourBestLawn3 жыл бұрын
thanks heaps for that, I'll see if I can fire up the GoPro app and change it. The LED lights in the shed are cheap china lights as well, not sure if that makes a difference
@emmett30673 жыл бұрын
@@YourBestLawn The cost of the lights shouldn't make any difference. I'm not familiar with the GoPro, if you can't see an option for 50Hz recording make sure the GoPro is set to "PAL". Sometimes video equipment only shows modes relevant for the market they're set to i.e. NTSC would only offer 60Hz, 30Hz etc. If set to PAL it will offer the option of recording in 25Hz, 50Hz etc.

Love the semi-pro, I was thinking about something similar but getting it swaged is a cracking idea. How long did you make it and what was the length of the swage, assuming you've not patented it already. Cheers.
@YourBestLawn2 жыл бұрын
hey mate, the entire thing is 1200mm long and the distance between the foot rest and the end is about 90mm. the swage itself drops the diameter pretty quickly so you can weld your foot rest, which controls the depth of the plug, at any height you want. I have cut a bit off the end since making it to make the plugs a bit shorter. Hope all that makes sense mate 👍
