I don't understand, why side panel is 14cm, but the body 16cm? And when you sewing it, side panel is much longer than body. So how much it should be?

Hi! Sorry if i didn't explain it very well. The pattern in the video shows 1/2 of the side panel piece I cut out. You want to line it up with the half way mark of the body piece so that when it is doubled in length it wraps around the bottom and sides of the purse's body. Hopefully that helps!
