DIY: Lilo and Stitch Costume (no sew or glue!)

Hope you are all having a great day so far! Here is how to make your own lilo and stitch costume (: It's pretty simple and forward, just be creative and im sure it will look awesome!
UPDATE: I know the instructions were not as specific and poorly explained, but here is the gist of it.
1. Get fleece fabric (like 2 yards)
2. Cut a small leaves out (fold fleece fabric so 2 leaves will be connected in order for you to tie it around bands)
3. Create your bands by getting any cotton fabric and tie together to fit your wrist, ankle, and waistline
4. Cut bigger leaves for your waistline
5. Find a green headband and cut smaller leaves and tie around
6 TADA (hopefully that was straight to the point and make everything a bit easier)
**** MAKE AS MUCH LEAVES AS IT TAKES TO GIVE YOU A DESIRE LOOK*****

I am a size 14 pant, so the tie method did not work for me. So I cut my big leaves in half at the top, and hot glued them to my ribbon. I let it sit for 30 minutes to an hour and tied to to my waist. It looked perfect! The head band and bracelets did fine, though I just used plain black bracelts instead of elastic bands. Thanks, Serena for the idea!

im sorry it was poorly explained. So what happened is I fold a piece of fleece fabric in half (make sure its long enough so you can cut the leaves). Find the side that you folded (the side where the piece of fabric still connects with each other). From that side, cut out a leave. After when you hold up the leave, the stem of the leaves should be connected to each other still. From there you can just tie it regularly like cross one string over and put it under the loop and pull. Or if your stem is long enough you can just tie the stem into a knot.

+Deztiny Rodriguez it depends on your waist's size and how poofy you wanted it to be! But in this case, mine was around 35-40 for the skirt and around 20 for my bracelets! :)
