1: "Liquid lightning" isn't even a real thing. Lightning is made out of plasma, therefore it cannot become a liquid. 2: The giveaway is a scam. Just because theres black light coming out of it doesn't mean its not implementing a lil' electrical charge.

Even if it were not a black light, it wouldn't be adding electricity, it might be adding photons (light particles) and with enough photons focused in an area something can get hot pretty fast. And either way, sugar water turned into candy really only has enough electrical capacity to maybe feel a tiny pin prick of pain, hardly noticeable. But sugar glass candy can get hot and melt again super easy.
