Hi hi. Just to let you and others know, plain old brand name "Elmer's Glue-All" that costs less than $2 at wal-mart, is by FAR the best glue out there for this kind of application. They all pretty much go on the skin nice and thickly, stay put, and dry quickly, but ONLY "Elmer's Glue-All" peels off easily and smoothly, the rest (even Elmer's clear glue) all tear into tiny thin little shreds that take a lot of extra work to peel up and clean off. The Elmer's Glue-All is also the best glue for peel off basecoat under your polish, again for the same reason of peeling off smooth and easy. By FAR the best 'alternative" product I've tried.

Genius!! I have been using vaseline and cleaning up with ready made q-tips soaked in nail polish remover and a toothpick. What a headache!!! This is pure GENIUS!!!

This guy is sold on your method. For an engineering model where clear acrylic welding solvent run-off, is a big no-no. Using your glue it's planned to paint circular dam around welds beforehand. Then peel 'em off after weld has set. Thanks Hannah.

I started creating my own glue tape a while ago using Elmer's glue and it works great. I used an almost empty clear nail Polish bottle and cleaned it out with 90% acetone. it's easier to use a clear Polish bottle than one that had a color in it. thanks for sharing all your great nail tips!

Nooo! Glue sucks as a base coat! Watch SimplyNailogicals "best peel off basecoat" and peel off stuff. Use Ünt for a peel of base coat and simply peel around your nails (or liquid palasade whatever)

The ünt peel off base coat is great, but glue is so cheap and works great too so I don't mind waiting 20 minutes.

You have to mix it with a little bit of water so it doesn't leave your skin feeling all sticky and it dryes fastly

I’ve actually used tacky glue for this as well and it works just as well though I think I might be a tiny bit more expensive. But it works just as well.
