I dont have a house but I absolutely am saving this video for future me. It sounds like such a fun project made by such a fun person. I can almost see myself being known as the odd lady that gives books for free. Thank you for posting, it's such a cool little house!

Such a cute project and really well made!! I would love to make one of these one day but unfortunately I live in an apartment right now 😂 Hopefully in the future I can come back & reference this (although not for a very long time, can't afford a house where I live in this economy 😅) I live in New Zealand & I've noticed quite a lot of these free libraries around - they are quite popular, although the ones here that I've seen are more targeted towards kids books to encourage reading. There has also been a rise in popularity for this type of thing but a food pantry for non-perishable goods! Anyway a fantastic job & I've been loving your videos - can't wait to see what you do next! ❤

Thank you!! And oof yeah, I’ve heard that NZ housing prices are insane! I love the idea of the little free pantry. I’ve also seen someone do one with free postcards to send loved ones, which I thought was really cute. My own little library is just for kids books, and I love seeing kids stop by! It warms my bookworm heart 🥰

Try clamping the door frame when sawing off the pocket screw plugs, or at least step on it. It may make it easier to do.

I had lost everything and came upon one of these free book stands that I could just take a book and walk on. I felt like that was a sign that there were people who cared and that things would work out for me. Things did het better after that. Thank you someone in Seattle, Wa. your efforts made a real difference. I had something just for me. 💦🩵💦✌🏽
