Thank you very much for such positive comments!!! Regarding my reply comments I honestly try hard to be polite with some people... It is really sad how many people love to write hate comments... I don't mind when people criticize my work, I know I am not perfect or a professional but when they personally insult me I get upset! When I watch KZbin videos, If I don't like a video I just turn it off and don't bother writing hate comments. Thanks again for your comments, I appreciate! Greetings from Greece!

How do you know the people that are criticizing are sitting doing nothing? Because they didn't record it? 🤷 Did you ever think those are people that are also Craftsman and just feel differently about the design or the practicality? Here you go. From a full-time fabricator and woodworker. Way too much effort to split a log. I have plenty of those jacks and they have a very short throw and lowering it is such a hassle. I don't like the design. Sue me.

Oh my God! Thank you. I've been searching KZbin for this for a long time. Then, KZbin-God used his almighty power of 'recommended videos' and now I found this. I wanted to make a log-splitter that use a manual hydraulic jack. Every video I watch shows a hydraulic press with motors and I can't afford that. Now by watching this I can make one, I've already bought the Jack so I'm gonna make one for my own just like this.

I think everyone who posts an invention on KZbin should all get a thumbs up 👍🏻 as we can all learn something from each video and make improvements, I think it’s bad that people give thumbs down 👎🏼 when people show the things they make even if they are not good as they are only trying to help . Personally I really prefer without any music. All top notch youtubers I follow use the natural sounds of the shop (Mathias Wandel, DiResta, John Heisz, Hand Tool Rescue...), so yes, it's all cutting, welding, drilling sounds, with or without audio comments, and it's really fine for me. That said, it's your channel so you do as you prefer, and it's solid content anyway. Thanks for your videos.

If he only splits as to what he needs per 2 days vs a months worth of wood with this thing it be worth it. But don't expect to split 5 core's of wood in a day because your wrist would sieze up and fall off. Unless some other method of pumping the Jack is figured. Great craftsmanship though..

@@RustisGold I would think this "air over hydraulic" would be most practical but you would still have to buy a ram on top of that and extend your bed www.harborfreight.com/10000-psi-air-hydraulic-pump-98318.html This air jack would be more practical in my opinion with the set-up you already have with very little mods and more economical too www.harborfreight.com/20-ton-air-over-hydraulic-jack-95553.html The electric hydraulic pumps are kinda expensive and you must have 220v to operate them. Theres a few comments on an axe being easier, try that on Australian hard woods and im guessing America has some hard woods as well. I hit a 10 inch red gum log (type of eucalyptus) with a block splitter yesterday at least 30 times with no effect, either got stuck or bounced off.

Эта ,, приспособа" красиво выглядит , но в хозяйстве мало эффективна и КПД , извините , никакой.

Большое спасибо за ваши комментарии. Мне нужно найти время и поменять ручной механизм. Это медленно ... 😊👍
