These are lovely, I want to try one in red, with a black center - poppies for remembrance day!
@SimplyInspiredbySheena3 жыл бұрын
💙 You could totally turn these into poppies! Or even Cherry blossoms too just by switching up the colours 😄💕💐

I needed a very small flower to cover a boo-boo in a wall pocket and this is perfect! I'll do three, I think and it'll look like a cute posy! I am using 2mm braided cord. Thanks so much for this great tutorial!

Love your flowers, and I love that I don't have to do the dreaded DHH too much!!! I can't quite work out how I would make the flower bigger, are you able to give a few instructions?
@SimplyInspiredbySheena2 жыл бұрын
💙 unfortunately due to the simplicity of this pattern, it can’t be adjusted to size. The only way to make this flower larger or smaller is to use different sized rope or yarn. Glad you love my pattern and thanks for watching 🤗💙

Thank you so much for this tutorial. It's the first one I wasn't intimidated by. What other flowers can you do, other than the ones you've already made tutorials for?
@SimplyInspiredbySheena3 жыл бұрын
💙 aww I’m happy to hear that ☺️ I’m really confident that I can do any flower...though some may be much more complex of a tutorial

Hello again! Can you do a tutorial on a flower that doesn't have a lot of cord on it, so it's easier to attach to a branch and leaf design piece?
@SimplyInspiredbySheena3 жыл бұрын
@@carriemilne3353 💙 Hello, actually that’s next! 😄 I’ll be doing Cherry Blossoms next which uses this forget me not design only tweaked a little to eliminate those cords in the back

I love these flowers,what size is the shank button please?
@SimplyInspiredbySheena2 жыл бұрын
💙 Thanks! The buttons are 14mm or 9/16th inch. Here is the time stamp 3:15 where I show the packaging if you wanted to find the same exact ones. Mine were purchased at Walmart 🤗💙

11:45. What do I do with all of the wasted cord?? Forget me knot flower
@reginaaxley6079 Жыл бұрын
I love the instructions very easy the only comment I have is why not make the chords shorter as there's so much leftover
@SimplyInspiredbySheena Жыл бұрын
💙 I’m happy you loved it! 😄🤗 I made the cords longer because many people like to have them incorporated into a wall hanging. I wish I had the option to share a picture with my reply so that I could show you what I mean…but at any rate, feel free to adjust the length of your cords to suit your needs…actually, if you check out another tutorial of mine (cherry blossoms) I kept the length short AND omitted the gathering knot at the back so that all you’re left with his the flower head. Here is the link if you’d like to take a peek kzbin.info/www/bejne/sIS3mGSopZmEZ7csi=aZ-J8P_UUw9_TZx5 Happy macrame-ing 🤗💙

Hi these r cute but i dont understand what is the length of the cord What do u mean by 16 to 30"?
@SimplyInspiredbySheena3 жыл бұрын
💙 Hello, that would mean that you need 16 cords cut in 30 inch lengths
@kit40513 жыл бұрын
@@SimplyInspiredbySheena thankyou😊
@kathyrobneck27533 жыл бұрын
How did you get rid of the hanging cord
@SimplyInspiredbySheena3 жыл бұрын
💙 For these ones I trimmed it very short, just be careful not to trim too close to the gathering knot

Is it me or is that a lot of extra?
@SimplyInspiredbySheena2 жыл бұрын
💙 I intentionally left it longer because some like to have the long tails when they add it to branches or other wall hangings. If that’s not your jam then feel free to adjust accordingly 🤗
