DIY Macrame Flower | Forget Me Nots Tutorial

Here is a very easy DIY macrame forget me not flower! This tutorial is great for a beginner and is a lot less time consuming than most macrame flowers out there.

16 - 30 inch (76cm) 3.35mm single strand cotton in the colour, Aegean Teal
1 - shank button
1 - 8 inch (20cm) butchers twine
- large threader or fishing line (optional)
- measuring tape
- scissors

💙 I’m happy you loved it! 😄🤗 I made the cords longer because many people like to have them incorporated into a wall hanging. I wish I had the option to share a picture with my reply so that I could show you what I mean…but at any rate, feel free to adjust the length of your cords to suit your needs…actually, if you check out another tutorial of mine (cherry blossoms) I kept the length short AND omitted the gathering knot at the back so that all you’re left with his the flower head. Love your flowers, and I love that I don't have to do the dreaded DHH too much!!! I can't quite work out how I would make the flower bigger, are you able to give a few instructions?

💙 unfortunately due to the simplicity of this pattern, it can’t be adjusted to size. The only way to make this flower larger or smaller is to use different sized rope or yarn. Glad you love my pattern and thanks for watching 🤗💙

💙 I intentionally left it longer because some like to have the long tails when they add it to branches or other wall hangings. If that’s not your jam then feel free to adjust accordingly 🤗
