At what point you ran out of strings?

So, how long should each rope be before putting it on the ring?
@migocreates Жыл бұрын
Its all depends of the cord type. The one from my kit its 3.5m each

Would prefer if the video had audio - i would prefer instructions while learning to macrame. I also ran out of string at the end, and the hat holder was not large enough for an adult-size hat. I watched other videos that suggested the two strings were different lengths.

Hi thank you for your comment. I used standard size hat. About the cord - i think it depends on structure of the cord. I created second hat Hanger with this measurements and everything was fine, but that you for your tips. I will have to keep this in my mind for future projects 🩷

I found myself not having enough rope past the second section of square knots... (I got to 9, not 13) I had to improvise something for the end with only 4 ropes left long enought instead of 8... Could you think of why it would happen ? Its my first project ever 😅

Hmmm interesting 😲Maybe you added at the beginning one/two cords less than on video? 🧐🧐 About the Square Knots - it depends on the rope thickness/type

At the beginning i had 8 strands, I had to Cut the 4 ones that we're too short to finish the project 😅

Yeah the cord lengths were way off, by a lot. I ran out as well and had to improvise.

Your instructions are covering the screen so it's hard to see how to make the knot at times, just letting you know for future videos. Thanks for your great work, making this now for a present.

My god slow down. It’s so hard to see what movements you’re doing. It’s so frustrating.

Hi - You can change the speed that the video plays at - go to settings icon on the video screen and pick 3rd option of play back speed...can slow it right down if needed.
