DIY: MACRAME PLANT HANGER TUTORIAL | INTERMEDIATE MACRAME | HOW TO MAKE A PLANT HANGER

Hello everyone, today's tutorial is an intermediate pattern, I do not recommend this one for absolute beginners! This pattern takes me about 35 minutes to make and uses two knots, double hitch knots, and gathering knots. If you are not familiar with those knots, or need some extra help with them please see the videos linked below for slow, in depth instructions on each:

When complete this plant hanger measures 37 inches/94cm in length and can nicely fit pots ranging in size from 6 to 12 inches. The pot used in this video was 8 inches.
HERE IS WHAT I USED:
-2.5in/6cm metal ring wrapped in 3mm cord, this is NOT necessary, you can use any ring you have!
- 5mm braided cord in Natural, cut to:
- 2 x 2ft/61cm for Gathering Knots.
- 8 x 11ft/335cm.

It isn’t a beginner pattern! Sorry I can’t make every single one for absolute beginners. I have experienced people in my audience too. I do have a lot of slow ones that clearly states for beginners or easy in the title. Also I tell in every video how to slow down the playback speed! Good luck!
