The square knot weave is a beautiful vintage macrame pattern. This pattern is a variation of the fish bone pattern, only the working cords weave through one another.
This pattern can be used in plant hangers, wall hangings, in hammocks, as belts, and in macrame jewelry.

Oh thank you so much for sharing! 💕❤💕 I am a total beginner but I am in the making of your saguaro cactus and just seeing this knot I was thinking to making it as a separate sideknot for the cactus and have it centered underneath the bottom of the cactus. Would you possibly know how much cord I would need for that, as I'm unsure wether I have enough cord .... 🙃 For the cactus I used 4m of 5mm cord.
