After discovering the cost to have "custom" covers made for my bar stools (over $500 per stool!) your easy to understand and sew pattern is one that I am willing to try. Thank you so much for sharing!

@cjames1224 I know slipcovers are very expensive to make custom. I have done a few myself for large three seater couches. However, it seems like your bar stool would be more expensive. I can understand a large piece being expensive, because they are a lot of work to do, BUT bar stool covers? Come on, they are not that difficult to do. I will be making covers for my round altered bar stools soon. I will be uploading a video of how I do it. Until then, all the best at trying your hands at DIY slipcovers!.

Hi thank you for your video… Quick question you stated to cut the fabric 40x57… to confirm you already cut it w/o showing on the video correct??

Then you went directly into cutting the new measurements?

@nancyhessler3358 yes, to save time, I precut the panel. You will need to measure your furniture and cut to size. Don't forget to add inches for the hem.
