I found your channel andi am saying oh wow I have made a home made vice to scrap the coppper out of electric motors yep there round like pipe and while working these round things they do move a lot and your idea puts a brilliance to work not that I did not have an idea all ready didn't have that on thing to putting it together my idea was like a conventional vice yours took out a lot of the complications of moving parts and indeed looks very very strong and simple compared to my idea Thank you for sharing this work of yours just woke me up to what I missed simple is best

Today I needed this to cut some .75" solid rod and I only had some C Clamps. I need a vice or 2 but only after I build the welding table.

Yeah Definitely a vise. One can do so much with it. You can find one fairly cheap.
