Incredible gift you have to take something that most ppl would discard and not think twice about and turning it into a beautiful piece of furniture. I bet Cabela's would love some of your work!!! 😉

Awesome, very nice finished stone base! Great seeing you 'think outside the box' like all great artist! A draw knife might help you do this kind of 'wood art'. Thanks for posting, I hope to see more! ....13

Joe, keep you eyes open for someone selling an old used ShopSmith. They make the best horizontal boring machine for work like this, and have the capacity Mrs K needs. You can get a good used one for a couple hundred bucks. I many cases, people will just give them away so they can reclaim some space in the shop.

What type sanding paper or grit do you use and can you sand off the bark or what? Just pulled out a beautiful 4 foot cedar i cut last year for making a tall lamp.

Yes it is frustrating I bought a $250 Mike a year ago because it was promised to work with my Samsung. They even sent me another adapter and it still didn't work. So we have the microphone it's just that none of our cameras accept an external mic so we need yet another camera! A bit frustrating
@kapperoutdoors
@kapperoutdoors 6 жыл бұрын
It is kind of stupid but most low and medium range cameras don't come with an external mic. Only the more expensive ones

Really nice idea! Been working wood all my life. Joe knows how to reach me if you have ANY questions at all about anything to do with wood (prepping, types of finishes, coloring, etc.), and I'd be happy to help any way I can.
