A very elegant dining set! It's also easy to scale up or down depending on the size of the kitchen/dining room they are made as you gave the basic shapes and meassures. I also love that you always include both high and low tech versions of creating!

I have always loved this channel and your content! Especially when you include the scratch version of your patterns ,showing that a handmade is still possible. I Also enjoy your reviews of different 3D printers that are available. You have achieved awesome things with them!

Why are about a ⅓ of the comments just complaining about the more technical side of the tutorial? She still shows how to do things by hand for those who can't afford the laser cutter or the 3D printer she has. We're basically getting a double feature with the bonus of her voice just being really soothing. Why can't people just enjoy the video itself if they can't (or won't) make the projects themselves?
@lunayen
@lunayen 11 ай бұрын
Why can' people genuinely complain about a legitimate concern?
@sirenofthesea7802
@sirenofthesea7802 11 ай бұрын
@@lunayen Because it's not legitimate. She still shows how to do it by hand, still shows how she drafted a pattern, transferred it to the wood, cut it with an x-acto knife, sand the edges, & glue it together. It's just not the only method she shows. If you actually watched any of her videos, you could see for yourself. If she ever has a video where she only uses a 3D printer &/or laser cutter, I implore you to tell me precisely which one has such an issue.

With all due respect and no bad intentions in my comments, this use to be my favorite channel for miniatures, I made several projects based on this channel. Everything used to be more "organic" like very easy, affordable, natural and accessible materials and tools were used to make the most awesome projects, but then everything changed to stuff some of us can't even afford. She uses all this different types of machines and 3D printers that even if I could afford them I wouldn't be able to used them it's just too difficult and more important, the fact that everything was made by hand made it much more relaxing and fun. (I hope I explained this well enough I'm trying my English, my fist language is Spanish).. Anyway but it still is a fantastic content, just not for everyone anymore or at least not for me. Now I feel is more for other people who can afford stuff like this, and for all the new technology enthusiasts

Thank you for your feedback. And also thank you for phrasing it in such a kind and respectful way. I wish I did, but I don’t have the capacity to make most projects by hand these days. Between a full time job, running a small business and parenting, it’s not often I’m able to create miniatures or videos. However, I still want to share how I build miniatures for my own dollhouse when I do have the time. I understand that content is no longer appealing or relatable to you and hope you enjoyed the older ones. Wishing you all the best and thank you for the support :)

Hi there! I linked this one in the description so you can get to it directly :) there are so many on the market nowadays and I’ve tried 4-5 different ones myself. That's why she showed the pieces drawn on paper.. to use as templates to cut out manually from the materials you want to use to make this set. I have always found that she gives more than one way to make things plus many older tutorials have great methods for making different things.
@ababy6074

@TracyLynnAP I agree that the old tutorial were great, but how is anybody supposed to afford what she uses now?
@lydiagriese1413
@lydiagriese1413 11 ай бұрын
I think she still shows different ways of miniature making. here she even gives a double tutorial: she shows how to prepare for the completely manually way and does it in full speed with technical support. every part of this dining set ist makeable by hand without any laser, printer or other tools. I think it‘s also inspiring to get a glimpse of the digital process behind all these laser cut and 3d-printer items. But I van unverstand that this is not the case for everybody….
@ababy6074
@ababy6074 11 ай бұрын
@lydiagriese1413 I don't think there is any double tutorial hete, or if there's anything, it's entirely tokenistic. Maybe she needs to add these new ways of doing miniatures but I still think most of us mere mortals can't afford these kinds of technologies. This is just my opinion though and I'm not interested in an argument.
