i have no idea what led me to this obsession of watching other people build dollhouses. i’m compelled to say that your work is some of the most exquisite, precise and gorgeously neat i’ve seen. i’m hooked

I just ordered this after watching your vid.. It should be arriving next week. I should have my current project, Sams Study, finished by then. This will be my 3rd miniature, and I have a feeling it will be a real challenge with all the lighting. I love your vids. They are a tremendous help. Thank you for sharing. EDIT AUG 12: I I have completed the downstairs but don't care for the upstairs. I'm making mine a rooftop garden with a narrow outdoors staircase leading up to it.

This video has been enormously helpful, as I’m watching it as I complete each step of my kit, so a huge “thank you!” for posting this! I am stuck, however, as I’ve just realized the instructions don’t actually tell you where you’re supposed to PUT all the items you’re making! On the 1st floor, besides the two tables, there’s NO direction as to where to put any of the other items! Can you, (or anyone else who’s made this kit and is reading this), shine a light on exactly how did you figure it out? I don’t want to glue something in the wrong spot, and then find out it’s wrong! I’m amazed at this oversight from the manufacturer. Thank you!

Hi there, I have a question, please - I can see you made yours so the 2nd floor room front wall is hinged, instead of the roof. I really like that idea, but once you’ve put up the big front sign, how can that wall be opened? It appears to be in the way, and before I copy yours, I’d like to be sure I can still open it! Thank you 😊

Where do you get the mini flowers that went in the outdoor sign. I don’t think they come with the kit.

Thank you! I’m just about finished and I added the hinges to the second floor like you did. But when I add the main Paris sign it stops my room from opening? Any ideas?
@CocobellyDIY3 жыл бұрын
@@emiliegrace2567 I glued the sign on the bedroom wall, but the sign was not glued on the balcony. So, the sign will open with the bedroom wall. Also, the eaves on the top left got in the way when I opened the bedroom wall, so I added a trench (28:45) - this way the eaves can slide back and forth and let the bedroom open.

Wow, your work is amazing and precise! Congratulations! I'm about to start this kit and you inspired me a lot, thanks! Couple of questions: the second floor I think that originally opens from the ceiling, right? Did you change this? Another thing: your pillows are JUST PERFECT. Did you sew or glue them? What kind of glue did you use? Previously I tried to glue some pillows, but they didn't look nearly as good as yours... Thanks!
@CocobellyDIY3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Yes, the instruction book in the kit is designed to open the second floor from the ceiling. I bought additional hinges and made some changes so I can open the second floor from the front. I glued my pillows. I used Beacon 3-in-1 Advanced Craft Glue on the pillows - it dries quite fast and doesn’t run through the fabric.
