Joseph Miranda i bought some as "paper number five" . Choose a matte and glossy paper finish, its made for photographic purposes (has to be, at least, 5 or 6 mil.)

Probably from craft stores or online. In my local craft store they have an area where they sell miniature furniture, like little tables and beds. Others, as shown by the video, are self made.
