awesome! so funny to see this tutorial because i discovered this hack, too, several years ago when i was browsing through family dollar! if you make minis, eventually, we all start to see the possibilities in the everyday things around us. i wish i had a vacuum mold machine to make these kinds of things, but luckily there are hundreds of things we can upcycle instead of always buying/wanting expensive tools. glad you discovered this for yourself, too, they came out great! what will you be storing in them?

Added trick. Rit synthetic dye will work on plastic. The plastic will have a smooth even color finish you can’t get with a paint brush. Only takes a few minutes to achieve.

I think that these could make cute little sushi containers too, if the lids were painted black, and the container was flipped upside down. Then you could place little sushi rolls inside.
