I promise, this is just a 1x video about this mining rig, and from now again only outdoor and DIY video's.

Great video!!! How much profit per day you get out of those two?
@dabberty2 жыл бұрын
That really depends on the eth value. when it is low was around 11 eur per day, when it was like in November 2021 it was around 24 eur per day

I couldn't tell from the video, but did you insert 8pin connectors into all three top slots? Curious if you used a splitter or jumper into one of those or 3 power cables straight from psu. Great video
@dabberty2 жыл бұрын
Hi, no splitters or jumpers where used. The evga card uses 2 cables, the other one 1 cable.

Great video! Does the 16 max pcie lanes from the celeron limit gpu power in any way?
@dabberty2 жыл бұрын
Hi, not that i've noticed. Only issue was that there where not enough powercables from the gpu to feed both cards 2 cables.

10 secs into the video there i thought you were going to be making your own 3090's. Lol. Good video, nice rig. Do you get much return from it?
@dabberty3 жыл бұрын
Thanks ! When I started the build and mining ETH was around 1800 usd,. Since that time it only has gone up and with the peak above 3000 it went quick with paying itself back. Just a couple more months and then it is all just pure profit.

Great video. But one question... Why riser cable and not a riser board?

You can put two 3090 cards to the motherboard directly. Any reason still using risers?

Yes, when i put it directly on the the motherboard, they where to close and got quite hot. Thats why the risers.

Great Vid! Could you share the measurements you cut each aluminum piece to, if possible?

Hi, i build it to the size of my hardware, so not sure if it will work for other setups. But the dimensions are 31cm deep, 47cm long, and 32cm height. The gpu's are sitting at 20cm height.

@@dabberty that's the hot spot temp, use gpuz or new hw64 that monitors rtx 3080 and 90 mem temps. Im running 41c on core, 55 hot spot and 88 vram temp... with massive fans. @@dabberty glad you caught it, 95c is max recommended by the gddr6x manufacturer. I put two 6" usb fans hitting backplate of 3090 and one 12" fan from the front, which cools all 6 cards, but I only have 1 3090 which is my heat culprit
@raresandrei72053 жыл бұрын
@@dabberty You need to repad the 3090 to get -20C on Memory Juction temps. Running under 95c is necesarry, running over 100c will lower hashrate, thermal throttle and will damage the VRAM.
