DIY Minnie Mouse the Main Attraction Grand Finale Fireworks Castle Ears | Disney vs DIY

We have finally reached the end of the Minnie Mouse the Main Attraction series! The final December month is themed to the Fireworks and Castle. I came up with a way to create a DIY version of these ears, and I think they turned out great! These ears are hand-painted, so you can fully customize them if you'd like to!
Supplies used:
- Black cotton fabric
- 6 mm thick craft foam
- Fiberfill
- White matte fabric paint
- Acrylic paints + Fabric Painting Medium
- 1" plastic headband
- Black velour fabric
- Braid trim (+ Sharpie and nail polish remover)
- Black sequin fabric
- Shiny thin craft foam
- Small rhinestone gems
- E6000 glue

Hi Emily. I have always enjoyed your ear tutorials. I have started to make my first pair of ears and was using cardboard. My hand was sore and ridiculously red after just cutting out four pieces 😂. These turned out so well! I know that some of the designs for the Minnie Mouse the Main Attraction were kind of out there (the pirate ship on the ears comes to mind)...but I was hoping they would do something like that again this year. I love the Disney attractions and it was great to see how they designed each month. I think this year they are doing something with Stitch...I like him but I'm not really into this year's series...

These are very cute! Have you tried Kona Quilting cotton? It is super dense and not very shear. I use it for my masks 😷. It's more expensive than just broadcloth, but so much better.
