Absolutely, you can make the tutu separately and pair it with a onesie 😊

Have you ever tried the lined crochet tops? If so, what did you think of them?

I have actually never lined one myself, I have however purchased and used lined tops. They are great for coverage and easy to work with, I do recommend to use exact measurements with these as they do not stretch as much as an unlined tutu top. I will work on lining one myself and get a video up for that soon :-)

Ramya Bharathi no I leave it there as the base to glue the fabric to and it also acts as a liner 😊

Ramya Bharathi it will take some work, because the hot glue is actually very strong. You will need to slowly pull it apart from the inside

Hi again.. how many inches for straps that you are using?

Ramya Bharathi I actually dont measure an exact amount of inches I just eyeball it, but I always make them pretty long and trim at the end. You just want your straps to be long enough to tie a big bow in the back 😊 On my next dress I will measure the length I use and let you know how long they are

Hi again! In your opinion, which is the best place to go get the tulle material? JoAnn, Michaels, or Walmart?? I don't want to run to 5 different places to look, and I didn't have the time to order those online. The crochet top arrived from Crabs Craft, and I'm still waiting for the Moana print fabric from Etsy! Today I'm hoping to go buy the tulle and ribbons!

Shamika Bernardin I would recommend Hobby Lobby if you have one near you, otherwise Michael's, I find that Joanne's tulle is expensive. I personally don't use Wal-Mart tulle as the quality is cheaper than other brands and I sell my dresses, but if you are making this for your little one and isn't intended for long term wear Wal-Mart tulle works fine 😊

If you buy a silicone mat, you can place it between the crochet top and the mannequin and the glue won't stick to it. I learned the hard way. lol

Chontate Brown it is 12 holes across and I put the gold on the 1st and 2nd layer. I was just referencing how wide I made that gold section 😊

Ann T the glitter craft foam sheets are not washable, the canvas glitter sheets are hand wash only, any cotton fabric I use to cover the bodice can be washed as instructed
