Suggestions: You can try purchasing some small rollers/wheels with a flat metal top and attach them to the underside of Cole's chair using velcro. The rollers will make contact with the seat. Or you can stick some flat rubber pieces under the toilet seat to raise it up just high enough for Cole's chair to make contact with the seat. I love the tile you used on your bathroom wall.

Just thinking..Maybe some high sitting flexible brackets (plastic or metal) that attach to the toilet seat, which would be pressed as Cole backs his chair over the toilet would help facilitate use...Hope this is helpful..I'm still DIY in training..lol.. Yes, you can do it! All is well with the bidet and I love it. I do wish I had purchased a model with a dryer but I may upgrade in the future and move this model to another bathroom. We'll see. Keep me posted on your decision to install one. Good luck!

Well, he has moved to CA so he only uses this bathroom when he visits. This bidet is triggered for use when there is weight on the toilet seat. Cole's chair hovers over the toilet without touching it. I was going to design something that would trick the bidet into thinking he was on the seat but, since he moved away, there hasn't been a need. So, until he comes back on a more permanent basis, I'm kicking that project down the road.

The water comes from the wall not the inside of the tank. Therefore, it is clean and does not pick up anything you might put in the tank.
