Fr vinyls and decal stickers were bound to happen for nail art and they just make sense. I can understand the concern of someone overcharging on them like someone claiming to had-paint everything when they actually printed an image they found online, but that's the only potential issue I could see with these methods and there are a lot of nail artists that have the integrity to be honest about their methods. I see nothing wrong with methods like these otherwise; if I want reusable press-on nails, I would like for them to look as nice as possible since their beauty will be around a long time to be seen a lot and this is a way to achieve those things.

I can’t believe people say that??!! No talent? Ride af! That’s ridiculous. Using a Cricut may be easy for us now, but it’s not like you can just jump onto Design Space without any knowledge. I’m so picky when it comes to nail art. There’s no way anyone can freehand like the Cricut can cut (or print then cut). This is an amazing way to accomplish nail art that is damn near perfect! Thanks!

I see nothing wrong with this method. You're just being efficient and ensuring quality, and this is coming from an artist. I can see how some people would worry about a nail artist lying about hand-painting a design from polish when they actually just printed an image they found online, but most artists will be honest about that kind of thing. Imo there's nothing wrong with trying to ensure quality. If I'm buying or making press-on nails that are gonna last a long time and be worn multiple times, I'd want them to look as nice as possible and this is a way to achieve that extra bit of quality in perfect lines/shapes/details etc. The smaller the canvas, the more drastic the tiniest imperfection has on the final product after all. Stupid questions: does the roundness of nails affect how an image should be printed and seen? Like does an image need to be made like 5-10% wider to not look distorted on the nail or does that matter? And do some designs need to be adjusted with a dart because of the roundness of nails, or does it depend on where the design will be placed? Sorry if these have obvious answers. I am just getting into using nails as a canvas and I'm trying to learn what I can and be prepared for anything lol.

I got the random idea to start using Cricut to cut and or print decals for my nails… I’m so glad I found your video! Bc I wasn’t sure if it’s the best idea but your nails tuned out awesome! And who cares if you use a “machine”…that just means you work smarter and not harder!! And besides nail techs would charge $15 just to apply a sticker.. anyways thank you! One question though do you prefer glossy or matte printable vinyl for nails?? I’m thinking glossy but wasn’t sure ❤❤❤

yes, exactly! definitely a money saver. i use matte vinyl because it cuts better with the small designs
